  1. Colours can have a psychological effect on everything ranging from human behaviour to mood to performance. The walls of our room determine the overall mood of our room, thus the choice of colours we make to paint our walls play an integral role in deciding what we wish to feel. The depth and darkness of colour can impact the perception of it. For example, dark purple can cause a more dramatic reaction, whereas light purple is considered relaxing, making it an ideal colour for a bedroom. Consider these pointers when thinking of wall painting for the bedroom.

  2. Warm colours such as red, yellow and orange can induce a variety of emotions ranging from warmth, comfort and anger, whereas cool colours such as green, blue and purple often promote feelings of calmness as well as sadness. Hence, we can see that colours determine not only the mood of our house but also impact our mood, and using correct and ideal colours can activate various emotions which we always store subconsciously.
